This video presents the necessary utopia of Carole Baudin, holder of the LEST/Iméra Chair in 2024, a utopia that invites us to (re)think the gestures of work through their sensitive aspect, by and from dance. Carole Baudin is an ethnologist, engineer, and photographer.

Freelance researcher, she conducts ad hoc studies and develops experimental projects with the aim of supporting innovation and development dynamics through an anthropological and sensitive approach.

Carole Baudin’s research project at Iméra, the Institute for Advanced Study of Aix-Marseille University, aims to explore the sensitive dimensions of evolving work. Using an interdisciplinary approach, the study highlights the impact of transformations on perceptions, sensations, and sensitivities involved in professional practices.
