Presentation of the Aix-Marseille University professors fellowship scheme open to research teachers in Aix-Marseille University

This programme is aimed at full-time lecturers at Aix-Marseille University (AMU) on Aix-Marseille University professors fellowship at Iméra, Institut d’études avancées (IEA) at Aix-Marseille University, for six months. They responded to one of the components of the annual CRCT campaign (Congés pour Recherches or Conversions Thématiques) with a scientific project able to be part of at least one of the four research programs of the Iméra: «Arts & Sciences: Indisciplined Knowledges», «Interdisciplinary Explorations», «Mediterranean» and «Necessary Utopias».

Fostering collaboration between local and international researches

Fully integrated into the interdisciplinary and international community of Iméra, research teachers participate for example in the Community Building Seminar, which brings together every week all the researchers of the institute and allows to confront the questions and the methods, or even to experiment formats of research and/or creation elaborated in collegiality.

As part of this scheme, research teachers have an office within the co-working space. Like international residents, they can organise scientific events if they wish.

Their residence is an ideal instrument for bringing together local and international research.
