The Q(ee)R Codes project, developed at Iméra during artist Anna Raimondo’s residency in 2020-2021, will be permanently installed in the urban space of Brussels in 2025.

Q(ee)r Codes – New Boundaries BXL 1000
After an initial version in 2021 at 1000 Brussels and a spin-off in Anderlecht in 2022, Anna Raimondo working on the long-term development of “Q(ee)R Codes – New Boundaries BXL 1000” with a commission from the City of Brussels. The sound and participatory public space project will return in 2025.
Call for participation: Anna Raimondo, HORISONS – MARE NOSTRUM
LABgamerz and artist Anna Raimondo are looking for participants (women, trans and non-binary people) between Marseille and Aix-en-Provence to take part in the participatory project HORISONS – MARE NOSTRUM: a sound exploration of intimate narratives linked to the Mediterranean Sea. Through collective meetings and individual recording sessions, you will have the opportunity to share your personal experience of the sea and contribute to a collective project reflecting a diversity of voices, languages and horizons. No previous skills or knowledge are required, just a desire to share your experience of the Mediterranean Sea!
The meetings will take place from Monday 3 to Friday 7 March 2025 at Studio Euphonia at Friche la Belle de Mai and by the sea with the artist and a small group of 5 participants.
Programme:
● Group get-together: a shared meal by the sea on Monday 3.
● Individual interviews and recordings: 4 hours on half a day during the week.
● A collective aperitif at the end of the week, designed as a second opportunity for collective exchange and sharing of the different recordings.
Each participant will receive €100 in financial compensation.
