Research project
Examining biases in cognitive diffusion between the two shores of the Mediterranean.
Project summary
The aim of my research project is to examine the biases involved in bringing the two shores of the Mediterranean closer together. It is part of a knowledge economy approach that focuses primarily on endogenous biases to the construction of exchange, absorption and learning capacities within southern Mediterranean countries, and ways to benefit from positive externalities, cross-fertilization and spillover effects linked to the dynamics of free trade, agglomeration and clusterization around the Mediterranean contour. The research project also includes a multi-disciplinary approach designed to take advantage of the various disciplinary fields dealing with the social, political and cultural conditions of knowledge creation and dissemination.
