An investigative end-of-residency event

For the end of her Iméra/Citadelle de Marseille residency, Mathilde Dewavrin invites you to take part in an investigation of stones in the Fort Saint-Nicolas area.

Mixing fiction and expert words, une démocratie de pierres (a democracy of stones) aims to open up imaginations, link sediments and serve as fertile ground for utopias. What if stones could talk…

Participation in this event is free, but registration is mandatory (capacity limited to 50 people).

The visit is not recommended for under-12 year olds.

Rendez-vous aux jardins

This event takes place within the scope of “Rendez-vous aux jardins”, an annual event that highlights the diversity and richness of parks and gardens, encourages exchanges between visitors and professionals, and promotes their restoration and preservation. This year’s theme, Jardins de pierres, Pierres de jardins, resonates perfectly with the Citadelle of Marseille and its approach to bringing together heritages ranging from the built to the natural.
