Study days and site visits

To mark the first year of existence of the Centre de recherche sur les circulations, les liens et les échanges (CeRCLEs), these study days are an opportunity to take an empirical look at the various forms of circulatory dynamics. Whether we’re talking about people, things, words, ideas, practices, knowledge, norms or models, their mobility and the connections they generate are at the heart of the social fabric. These themes guide the thinking of the Centre’s members, who approach them from perspectives that go beyond national scales and cultural areas, combining disciplinary approaches (anthropology, economics, socio-linguistics, history).

The study days take place from Tuesday, December 2nd to Thursday, December 4th, 2025 at the Centre de la Vieille Charité. Site visits include a guided tour of the exhibition Aden – Marseille. D’un port à l’autre at the Centre de la Vieille Charité, a guided tour of the Musée de la Moto, and a historical walk in St André.
