Peter Richards propose un atelier sur deux jours en partenariat avec l'Exploratorium de San Francisco, dont une délégation participe aux activités de l'IMéRA durant la première semaine de juin.

Thème de l'atelier : INVISIBLE DYNAMICS

La première journée se déroule à l'hôpital Caroline, sur l'île du Frioul ; la seconde au Palais de la Bourse, sur la Canebière.

Workshop Abstract:  The IMéRA-Exploratorium-Invisible Dynamics Workshop (IE-ID) is a trans-disciplinary process involving, artists, scientists, historians, urban planners, geographers, anthropologists and sociologists among others.  Focusing on common characteristics shared by the Marseille region and the Bay Area of California, we will be exploring the deeply interactive relationships between landscapes and their inhabitants and the many physical, biological, engineered, socio-economic and cultural forces that influence those interactions.  Invisible Dynamics: The Science of a Sense of Place is a developing philosophical approach to understanding the complexity of inhabited landscapes through revealing and mapping the invisible systems that give a place its character.
